Body Weight: w=(t+0.5w)+t
Tail Weight: t=4
Head Weight: t+0.5w

w=t+0.5w+t

But t=4,

w=4+0.5w+4

w-0.5w=8

0.5w=8

Therefore: w=16.

WILL GIVE BRAINLIST AS SOON AS I CAN I've also never seen this question before either?? Very confused.
shepuryov [24]

Answer:

0.360  %  or 40%

Step-by-step explanation:

Area circle = 50.27 (50)

Area square = 32.3 (32)

Area circle minus area square  = 50.27-32.3= 17.97 (18)

    18/50 = 9/25 = 0.36

Use the Law of Sines. Find m2c to the nearest tenth.
seropon [69]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Set up the Law of Sines as follows:

\frac{sinC}{58}=\frac{sin30}{35} and

sinC=\frac{58sin30}{35} and

sinC = .8285714286 so

C = 56.0°

Brainliest is given to the correct answer!
OlgaM077 [116]

Answer:

a. p = 2\pi r + 8r

b. r = \frac{p}{2\pi + 8}

Step-by-step explanation:

a. Radius of semicircle (r) = r

Diameter of semicircle (d) = 2r

Length of rectangle (l) = 2*diameter of semicircle = 2*2r = 4r

Distance around the track (p) = circumference of circle + 2(l)

Note: the two semicircles of the track = 1 full circle

Circumference of full circle = πd = π*2r = 2πr

Distance around the track:

p = 2πr + 2(4r)

p = 2πr + 8r

b. Rewriting the formula to make radius, r, the subject of the formula in terms of distance around the track.

p = 2\pi r + 8r

Factor out r

p = r(2\pi + 8)

Divide both sides by (2π + 8)

\frac{p}{2\pi + 8} = \frac{r(2\pi + 8)}{2\pi + 8}

\frac{p}{2\pi + 8} = r

r = \frac{p}{2\pi + 8}

Hey please help, thank you!!
marin [14]

Answer:

D

Step-by-step explanation:

So we have the equation:

A=\frac{1}{2}(12)(3+7)

And we want to find out which of the answer choices is <em>not</em> equivalent.

Thus, let's go through each of the choices.

A)

We have:

\frac{12(3+7)}{2}

This is correct.

Our original equation can be written as:

A=\frac{1}{2}(\frac{12(3+7)}{1})

And if we multiply straight across:

A=\frac{12(3+7)}{2}

We'll get choice A. So choice A is correct.

B)

We have:

6(3+7)

This is also correct.

From our original equation:

A=\frac{1}{2}(12)\cdot(3+7)

If we multiply the first term together:

A=6(3+7)

We'll get choice B. So, choice B is correct.

C)

We have:

0.5(12)(10)

This is correct as well.

If we reduce 1/2 to decimal form and add the operations within the parentheses in the original equation, we will get:

A=\frac{1}{2}(12)(3+7)\\A=0.5(12)(10)

So, C is also correct.

D)

We have:

\frac{12}{2}\times\frac{10}{2}

Note that this is not correct.

This attempted to use the distributive property. However, the distribute property does <em>not work</em> for multiplication. For instance:

3(2+1)\text{ indeed equals } 3(2)+3(1)

However:

3(2\times1)\text{ does not equal} 3(2)\times3(1)

So, choice D is not equivalent.

So choice D is our answer :)

If we evaluate it, we will get 30, in contrast to the 60 of the others.
