Read the following sentence.
fgiga [73]

Answer:

option A

Leonardo da Vinci's The Last Supper is often considered his masterpiece.

Explanation:

The original sentence has some flaws which are :

1. The title of the painting is not written in the proper format for writing title of artistic works

2. The repetition of Leonardo da Vinci's name is not necessary as a simple pronoun could suffice

3. The word "Masterful piece" could be better replaced by "master piece".

From these, the best option that revises the sentence in the most appropriate format is option A:

Leonardo da Vinci's The Last Supper is often considered his masterpiece

2. (a) What significant events does Chesnut describe in her diary?
Brrunno [24]

Explanation:

A) Mary Chesnut is starting to write her diary on November 8, 1860 when she found of that Abraham Lincoln is elected for the president of United States. She was on the train and that was the moment when she decided that she will write about everything that is happening around her. Those events were Abraham Lincoln election, the South’s secession from the Union, Civil War.

B) The diary is giving us reveal of the daily life back then including finances, race, struggles, and sacrifices. She was fighting trough the diary to come to terms with the things that was very important back them and all of them were wanting it. That thing was freedom. She met many people during her lifetime, those were famous people, people who survived the war and people who are having many secrets.

C) For me, the most surprising thing is that she recorded her impressions during the five years. Also, I found surprising that she wanted to describe and represent all secrets and events that she found out from other people and I think that that is really brave.
