Find the perimeter of a square with side 5.5 cm

Mathematics

To find the perimeter of any shape you must add all the sides together.

As a basic rule the sides of a square are all equal to each other. This means that all four of the sides are 5.5

The perimeter of the square is therefore:

5.5 + 5.5 + 5.5 + 5.5 = 22

OR

5.5 * 4 = 22

The perimeter of the square is 22 cm

Hope this helped!

Answer: 22cm

Step-by-step explanation:

A square has four sides with equal length So, the perimeter of a square = 4L (i.e 4 x length)

= 4 x 5.5cm

= 22cm

Thus, the perimeter of the square is 22cm

Find the volume of the composite solid. Round your answer to the nearest hundredth.
zaharov [31]

Answer:

Volume of solid = 737 cm³ (Approx)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Radius r = 4 cm

Length of cylinder = 12 cm

Find:

Volume of solid

Computation:

Volume of solid = Volume of hemisphere + Volume of cylinder

Volume of solid = (2/3)πr³ + πr²h

Volume of solid = (2/3)π(4)³ + π(4)²(12)

Volume of solid = 134 + 603

Volume of solid = 737 cm³ (Approx)

Given a regular square pyramid with RS = 6 and PX = 4, find the following measure.<br><br> PY =
Dennis_Churaev [7]

Answer:

PY=5\ units

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

Applying the Pythagoras Theorem

PY^{2}=PX^{2}+XY^{2}

In this problem we have that

XY=RS/2=6/2=3\ units

PX=4\ units

substitute

PY^{2}=4^{2}+3^{2}

PY^{2}=25

PY=\sqrt{25}\ units

PY=5\ units

6x+3=4x+9 can you guys explain this for me
Paraphin [41]
We have such equation
6x+3=4x+9             /-4x      subtract 4x both sides
6x-4x+3=4x-4x+9
2x+3=9            /-3     subtract 3 both sides
2x=6               /:2      divide both sides by 2
x=3 - its result
