Okay, so all you need to do is to find the missing angle.

First, remember that all the angles of a triangle equal 180°. So if you know two of the angles, all you have to do is add them, then subtract the sum from 180.

1. 78 + 37 = 115     180 - 115 = 65   Do the same thing for each triangle and your answers are.

1. 65°   2. 34°    3. 67°    4. 58°

Help it’s slope idk how to do it
Over [174]

a. \boxed{y-602=\frac{2}{3}(x-3)}

b. For every month the pine tree grows about 0.67 inches.

c. <em> </em>It represents the height of the tree at the moment Ariel started to record the heights.

<h2>Explanation:</h2>

<h3>PART A.</h3>

In this exercise we have that in July Ariel recorded the height of a pine tree and how quickly it was expected to grow in next several months. From the Table, we can get the following points:

P_{1}(3,602) \\ \\ P_{2}(6,604) \\ \\ P_{3}(q,606) \\ \\ P_{4}(12,608)

It is obvious that this problem follows a linear equation, so our goal is to find the equation that matches the Table.

The point slope form of the equation of a line is:

y-y_{1}=m(x-x_{1}) \\ \\ Where: \\ \\ m:Slope \\ \\ (x_{1}, y_{1}):A \ point \ on \ the \ line

Finding (m):

Using: \\ \\ P_{1}(x_{1},y_{1}) \rightarrow P_{1}(3,602) \\ \\  P_{2}(x_{2}, y_{2}) \rightarrow P_{2}(6,604) \\ \\ m=\frac{y_{2}-y_{1}}{x_{2}-x_{1}}=\frac{604-602}{6-3} \\ \\ m=\frac{2}{3}

Finally, the equation of the line is:

(x_{1}, y_{1}) \rightarrow (3,602) \\ \\ \boxed{y-602=\frac{2}{3}(x-3)}

<h3>PART B.</h3>

In this case, we have that:

  • The x-axis represents the <em>Number of Months </em>the pine tree was expected to grow.
  • The y-axis represents the <em>Height  of the Tree </em>in inches.

Since the slope o a line is:

Slope=\frac{Change \ in \ y}{Change \ in \ x}=\frac{2}{3}

Then, this means that<em> every three months the pine tree grows two inches, </em><em>or </em><em>for every month the pine tree grows about 0.67 inches.</em>

<h3>PART C.</h3>

The y-intercept can be found setting x=0. So, from our equation:

y-602=\frac{2}{3}(x-3)} \\ \\ \\ If \ x=0: \\ \\ y-602=\frac{2}{3}(0-3) \\ \\ y-602=-2 \\ \\ Solving \ for \ y: \\ \\ y=602-2 \\ \\ y=600

So the y-intercept is y=600 and<em> represents the height of the tree at the moment Ariel started to record the heights.</em>

Past experience has indicated that the breaking strength of yarn used in manufacturing drapery material is normally distributed
vlabodo [156]

Answer:

95% two-sided confidence interval on the true mean breaking strength is (94.8cm, 99.2cm)

Step-by-step explanation:

Our sample size is 11.

The first step to solve this problem is finding our degrees of freedom, that is, the sample size subtracted by 1. So

df = 11-1 = 10.

Then, we need to subtract one by the confidence level \alpha and divide by 2. So:

\frac{1-0.95}{2} = \frac{0.05}{2} = 0.025

Now, we need our answers from both steps above to find a value T in the t-distribution table. So, with 10 and 0.025 in the two-sided t-distribution table, we have T = 1.812

Now, we find the standard deviation of the sample. This is the division of the standard deviation by the square root of the sample size. So

s = \frac{4}{\sqrt{11}} = 1.2060

Now, we multiply T and s

M = Ts = 1.812*1.2060 = 2.19/tex]For the lower end of the interval, we subtract the sample mean by M. So the lower end of the interval here is[tex]L = 97 - 2.19 = 94.81 = 94.8cm

For the upper end of the interval, we add the sample mean and M. So the upper end of the interval here is

L = 97 + 2.19 = 99.19 = 99.2cm

So

95% two-sided confidence interval on the true mean breaking strength is (94.8cm, 99.2cm).
