Hi<em>  </em><u>hope your having a wonderful day</u>, here's the answer to this question along with all the information you need to know on these types of problems, i explained it pretty clearly, hope this helps you out and let me know if you need ANYthing else ! :) :)

<u>Answer</u>:

 x = 8/15 = 0.533

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

<u>Rearrange the equation by subtracting what is to the right of the equal sign from both sides of the equation :  </u>

6*x-1/5-(3/1)=0

Simplify   1/3

   1

 (6x -  —) -  3  = 0

        5

Rewrite the whole as a fraction using  5  as the denominator :

          6x     6x • 5

    6x =  ——  =  ——————

          1        5

Pulling out like terms :

5.1     Pull out like factors :

  30x - 16  =   2 • (15x - 8)

Equation at the end of step  5  :

 2 • (15x - 8)

 —————————————  = 0

       5

Step  6  :

When a fraction equals zero :

Where a fraction equals zero, its numerator, the part which is above the fraction line, must equal zero.

Now,to get rid of the denominator, Tiger multiplys both sides of the equation by the denominator.

Here's how:

 2•(15x-8)

————————— • 5 = 0 • 5

     5

Now, on the left hand side, the  5  cancels out the denominator, while, on the right hand side, zero times anything is still zero.

<u>The equation now takes the shape :</u>

<u />

  2  •  (15x-8)  = 0

<u>Equations which are never true :</u>

<u />

6.2      Solve :    2   =  0

A a non-zero constant never equals zero.

Solving a Single Variable Equation :

6.3      Solve  :    15x-8 = 0

Add  8  to both sides of the equation :

                     15x = 8

Leaving us with our final solution

Divide both sides of the equation by 15:

 x = 8/15 = 0.53

                  x = 8/15 = 0.533

Hope i at least explained a little for you, have a good day! :)

edit: ( sorry if it's a little long lol ! )

The width of a rectangle is 8 inches and the perimeter is 26 inches. What is the length of the rectangle?
fredd [130]

Length of the rectangle is 5 inches

Step-by-step explanation:

  • Step 1: Perimeter of the rectangle = 26 in and width = 8 in. Find the length.

Perimeter of the rectangle = 2(length + width)

26 = 2(length + 8)

13 = length + 8

length = 13 - 8

Length = 5 in

A specific park is rectangular-shaped and has a 3 mile-perimeter. The length is 4 times the width. What are the dimensions of th
avanturin [10]

Answer:

The length of the rectangular park is 1.2\ mi and the width of the rectangular park is 0.3\ mi

Step-by-step explanation:

Let

x ----> the length of the rectangular park

y ---> the width of the rectangular park

we know that

The perimeter is equal to

P=2(x+y)

P=3\ mi

so

3=2(x+y) -----> equation A

x=4y ----> equation B

substitute equation B in equation A and solve for y

3=2(4y+y)

3=10y

y=0.3\ mi

Find the value of x

x=4(0.3)=1.2\ mi

therefore

The length of the rectangular park is 1.2\ mi and the width of the rectangular park is 0.3\ mi

How do I solve step by step and the answer to lnX=4.3657
Harman [31]
\bf ln(x)=4.3657\iff log_e(x)=4.3657\\\\&#10;-----------------------------\\\\&#10;{{  a}}^{log_{{  a}}x}=x\impliedby \textit{log cancellation rule}\\\\&#10;-----------------------------\\\\&#10;e^{log_e(x)}=e^{4.3657}\implies x=e^{4.3657}

now, for the other, we use the same cancellation rule

\bf ln(3x)=6\iff log_e(3x)=6\implies e^{log_e(3x)}=e^{6}&#10;\\\\\\&#10;3x=e^6\implies x=\cfrac{e^6}{3}
