The philanthropists, Angelina Joe and Brad Pitt, found what was known as the Make It Right Foundation. The foundation aimed at providing relief to the disaster-struck region in New Orleans. This came after the devastating Hurricane Katrina that destroyed a lot of property. At the moment, the organization, through its effort, has been able to build about 90 homes to house people who were affected by the hurricane. These houses were built with the vision of being energy efficient. In fact, the houses are about seventy percent energy efficient which means that less energy is needed from heating amenities.
The "d. United Nations" would not be a good example of an NGO, since NGOs (non-governmental organizations) usually act independently and on a much smaller scale.
