Hi,

Your Question states: If Sarah has 50 Nickles and 20 dimes and Bill has 230 pennies and 5 quarters. Who has the more amount of money?

Answer: Sarah

Explanation: Sarah amount is $2.50, because the amount of nickels is 5 cents and if you multiply 5 times 50 you answer becomes $2.50. 20 dimes and every dime is 10 multiples up to $2.00. 230 is $2.30, and 5 quarters each being 25 cents is $1.25 so your answer is Sarah with 50 nickels.

I Hope I Helped!

Sarah has more money :)

Sarah: So 50 x 5 would be 250 and 20 x 10 would be 200. Add those together you get 450 and convert that into money you would get 7.5 dollars.

Bill: 230 x 1 would be 230 and 5 x 25 would be 125. Add those together and you get 355 and convert that into money and your total is 5.91.

Step-by-step explanation:

use the parallel lines

alternate interior angles means that theta + 112 = 180

and since the alternate interior of the 85 degree angle is a vrtical angle of alpha, they are equal

Which one should I use
Setler79 [48]

Answer:

Pythagorean Theorem and Sine

Step-by-step explanation:

you could use pythagorean theorem to find the 3rd side, then use inverse sine of c.

Using the equation a2 + b2 = c2

Subtract 13squared from 5squared

169-25

then take the square root of the answer- which is 12

then do the inverse of sine

that should give you the missing angle

Neko [114]

Answer:

99.7%

Step-by-step explanation:

The lifespans of meerkats in a particular zoo are normally distributed. The average meerkat lives 10.4 years; the standard deviation is 1.9 years.

Use the empirical rule (68−95−99.7%) to estimate the probability of a meerkat living between 4.7 years and 16.1 years

The empirical rule states that almost all data fall within three standard deviations of the mean for a normal distribution. These are:

  1. 68% of data falls within the first standard deviation from the mean ( μ ± σ)
  2. 95% fall within two standard deviations ( μ ± 2σ)
  3. 99.7% fall within three standard deviations( μ ± 3σ)

Given that:

mean (μ) = 10.4 years and standard deviation σ = 1.9 years

The first standard deviation ( μ ± σ) = (10.4 ± 1.9) = (8.5, 12,4). Therefore, 68% of data falls between 8.5 years and 12.4 years

The second standard deviation ( μ ± 2σ) = (10.4 ± 2×1.9) = (6.6, 14.2). Therefore, 95% of data falls between 6.6 years and 14.2 years

The third standard deviation ( μ ± 3σ) = (10.4 ± 3×1.9) = (4.7, 16.1). Therefore, 99.7% of data falls between 4.7 years and 16.1 years
