Answer:

Set B, {89, 73, 84, 91, 87, 77, 94}

Step-by-step explanation:

The spread can be found by simply calculating the range of the the given data.

For set A, the range is given by: Highest value of the set- lowest value of the set=94-74=20

For set B, the value of the range is: 94-73= 21

For set C, the value of the range is: 91-73=18

For set D, the value of the range is: 99-82=17

Since, the maximum range is given by the set B that is 21, therefore set B has the greatest spread.

The function
kumpel [21]
<h3>Answer:</h3>

The rate of change in the 2nd 3-year interval is 3.375 times that in the 1st 3-year interval.

<h3>Explanation:</h3>

The exponential function tells you that each year values get multiplied by 1.5. Then after thee years, values are multiplied by 1.5³ = 3.375. This is true for all function values, including average rate of change. Whatever the rate of change is in years 0–3, it will be 3.375 times that in years 3–6.

The calculation performed by the graphing calculator confirms this:

... the average rate of change in years 3–6 is 160.3125; in years 0–3, it is 47.5.

The ratio of these average rate of cange values is 3.375.

Ryan and miles are each saving money. Ryan starts with $150 in his savings account and adds $40 per week. Miles starts with $50
m_a_m_a [10]

Answer:

The answer to your question is 5 weeks

Step-by-step explanation:

Data

Ryan                                      Miles

$150                                      $50

each week = $40                  each week = $60

x = savings

y = time in weeks

Process

1.- Write an equation for Ryan savings

     x = 40y + 150

2.- Write an equation for Miles savings

    x = 60y + 50

3.- Solve the system by Equality

          40y + 150 = 60y + 50

- Solve for y

          40y - 60y = 50 - 150

                   -20y = -100

                         y = -100 / -20

                         y =  5

4.- Conclusion

After 5 weeks, they will have the same amount of money.
