Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

1) If theres 3% of winning, then the rest is losing which is 97%

2) If theres a 15% chance of snow and 15% chance of rain then everything else  is a chance of neither which is 70%

3) If the odds are 99:1 to not win then winning is 1:99 (im not so sure about this im so sorry owen)

4) If you add the sum of the totals in the problems it becomes 0.7. The remaining should be green which is 0.3.

5) Find the sum of all the percentages put together to get 50%. Whatever is left is the probability of winning nothing which is 50%

6) Should be 50:1 im not so sure like i told you dont kill me heheh

A farmer owns pigs, chickens, and ducks. When all her animals are together, she has 30 feathered animals, and the animals all to
tatiyna

To solve this problem, let us first assign some variables. Let us say that:

x = pigs

y = chickens

z = ducks

From the problem statement, we can formulate the following equations:

1. y + z = 30                                         ---> only chicken and ducks have feathers

2. 4 x + 2 y + 2 z = 120                      ---> pig has 4 feet, while chicken and duck has 2 each

3. 2 x + 2 y + 2 z = 90                        ---> each animal has 2 eyes only

Rewriting equation 1 in terms of y:

y = 30 – z

Plugging this in equation 2:

4 x + 2 (30 – z) + 2 z = 120

4 x + 60 – 2z + 2z = 120

4 x = 120 – 60

4 x = 60

x = 15

From the given choices, only one choice has 15 pigs. Therefore the answers are:

She has 15 pigs, 12 chickens, and 18 ducks.

What expression using gcf 14xy+8yz
salantis [7]

Answer:

2y(7x + 4z)

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider the common factors of both terms

The gcf of 14 and 8 is 2

The gcf of xy and yz is y

Thus the gcf of both terms is 2y, thus

14xy + 8yz

= 2y(7x + 4z)

Triangle ABC underwent a sequence of transformations to give triangle A′B′C′. Which transformations could not have taken place?
IrinaVladis [17]

Answer:

C. a rotation 180° clockwise about the origin followed by a reflection across the line y = x

Step-by-step explanation:

Let us assume that the coordinate of A in triangle ABC is A(x, y)

A) If there is a reflection across line y = x, the new coordinate is at A'(y, x).

If a reflection across the line y = -x is then followed, the new coordinate is at A"(-x, -y)

B) If there is a reflection across line x axis, the new coordinate is at A'(x, -y).

If a reflection across the line y axis is then done, the new coordinate is at

A"(-x, -y)

C) If there is a rotation 180° clockwise about the origin, the new coordinate is at A'(-x, -y).

If a reflection across the line y = x is then followed, the new coordinate is at A"(-y, -x)

D) B) If there is a reflection across line y axis, the new coordinate is at A'(-x, y).

If a reflection across the line x axis is then done, the new coordinate is at

A"(-x, -y)

Since only option C has a different result from the remaining options, hence option C would not five triangle A'B'C'
