Answer:

It is evident that the Greeks valued loyalty and courage. In The Iliad, Hector explains that he cannot face his family and friends if he does not march bravely into battle. The Greeks also valued honesty and hard work. For example, in two fables, "The Hare and the Tortoise" and "The Ant and the Grasshopper," the moral is that hard work leads to success.

Answer: They valued courage, a good work ethic, wisdom, humility, strength, trustworthiness and loyalty.

Explanation: I like Megan22354's answer but I feel like more could be added to it.

In the fable The ant and the grasshopper, the ants were hard at work utilizing the harvesting season to the best of their ability to ensure that they were prepared for the winter. The grasshopper how ever was more concerned about the present. He saw that he had enough resources to suit his needs at the current time. The ants survived the winter with ease because of there previous hard work. The grasshopper was not so lucky.

The moral of that story is to work hard in the present so you can enjoy the future.

In the fable The Hare and the Tortoise, a hare challenged anyone to race him because he was very sure of his abilities. The tortoise humbly accepted his challenge and received some mochary from the hare and the other animals. He responded to the hare by saying, "Keep your boasting till you’ve beaten. Shall we race?" and the hare accepted his response. Once they began racing the hare was far ahead of the tortoise and to show how much better he was, he laid down to take a nap. When the hare awoke he found the tortoise was about to cross the finish line and that he could not make up the distance. The tortoise won the race and humbly said, "Plodding wins the race.” which basically means, "slow and steady wins the race."

The moral of this story: consistent work and humility will see you through until you get where you are going and beyond.

In the fable The Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing, A sly wolf found a sheep skin that had been cast aside by the shepherds. He put it over himself as a disguise to get into the flock. The Lamb that belonged to the sheep, whose skin the Wolf was wearing, began to follow the Wolf in the Sheep’s clothing. He led the lamb away and ATE HER.

The moral of this story is make sure you know who you are putting your trust in or you may face severe consequences.

Which group or organization was not inspired by the civil rights movement of the 1950's and 1960's?
GalinKa [24]
The correct answer would be the second option. The group or organization that was not inspired by the civil rights movement of the 1950's and 1960's is the feminists. The Civil rights movements focus on the implementation of laws equally to all people, which peaked during the 1960's. Ensuring that the rights are equally protected by law, these include but not limited to women's rights, minorities' rights and LGBT rights.

How does Napoleon continue the revolution?
Masteriza [31]

Napoleon continued the French Revolution first by resisting the external threats to the Revolution. Namely Great Britian and other European states who felt threatened by the Revolution and who sought to replace the new government by putting another Bourbon king on the throne. He also continued the Revolution by supporting the government itself. As he gained power he continued the reforms to the government and law that the Rvolution had started, and did so in such a just manner that his model would be used throughout Europe in the future. He also made the French government a meritocracy, where it was one's ability that determined to what rank and position you could rise, rather than the accident of birth.

On the betrayal side, Napoleon's biggest action was in accepting the role of Emperor. He in effect turned back the clock to claim a royal title in a nation that had rejected the idea of royalty. He would also go on to award noble titles to his best and loyalest supporters, as well as placing family members on European thrones in nations he had beaten. He also betrayed the Revolution in his conquests of other nations. This was partially a defensive measure against the intrigues of those nations, and partially an attempt to fulfill his own ambitions to earn the title he had bestowed on himself. But in doing so he condemned a generation of Frenchmen and youth to a life of constant warfare, left the economy of France hanging precariously in the balance as it tried to support his war needs and fight Brithish embargoes, and bled all of Europe of men.

Most likely Machiavelli would approve of Napoleon. Napoleon had ambition, nerve, ability, and a willingness to do what must be done to gain and maintain his position. Napoleon did so and managed to retain the love and loyalty of most of France's citizens throughout most of his reign.
