Which economic system has become associated with authoritarian governments and total control of the economy? capitalism mercanti
Alex787 [66]
The economic system that has become associated with authoritarian governments and total control of the economy is C. communism. This can widely be attributed to the Soviet Union's use of communism during the latter half of the 20th century. Although it is foolish to tether economic policies to governmental systems, the USSR has become associated with totalitarianism and communism whereas the US has become associated with freedom and capitalism.
