Answer:

A broad declaration of the organization's overriding purpose, which is intended to identify the organization's products and customer base, as well as to differentiate the organization from its competitors, is known as a mission statement.

Explanation:

The mission describes the core of the company, it states the function of the company, its goal markets, objectives and purposes, values and the advantages that differentiate it from the competitors. Normally is combined with the vision of the company.

While the functional level strategies focus on an operational level, they are more specific and work within different company’s areas in order to achieve goals.

The formulated strategy, as the name says, is a process that pursues the best course of action/actions to achieve desired results that lead to a company's success. It is more like a plan of action addressed to all the employees of the organization.

And positioning refers to the product’s reputation among others, is the place that a company brand occupies, the presence of the company stating why is different and better than the competitors. This is tightly related to the target market the company aims for.

That is why the mission is the statement that best describes, broadly, the existence or essence of the company and its products.

A potential customer for an $88,000 fire insurance policy possesses a home in an area that, according to experience, may sustain
Ksenya-84 [330]

Answer:

The answer is: In order for the company to break even on all the $88,000 policies in that area it must charge $528 per yearly policy.

Explanation:

In order to calculate what premium the insurance company should charge in order to break even, we must know how much money the company will have to pay during the year.

Fire insurance policy of $88,000

Possible losses Probability Money paid by company

total loss 0.001 $88,000

50% loss 0.01 $44,000

The company will have to pay $88 ($88,000 x 0.001) for a total loss and $440 ($44,000 x 0.01) for a 50% loss, we add them up and get $528.

In order for the company to break even on all the $88,000 policies in that area it must charge $528 per yearly policy.

Select three of the following that are listed as sensitive sites in the location and transportation (LT) category that should be
Eduardwww [97]

Answer:

The three sites that are listed as sensitive sites in the location and transportation (LT) category that should be built on are;

1. Wetlands

2. Prime farmland

3. Flood plains

Explanation:

The location and transportation category of credits is based on where the project is located and the accessibility to public transport. Accessibility is looked at in terms of how flexible the area fits in with different modes of public transport. Either by bus, or by train. These credits are awarded based on a number of factors that promotes environmental conservation, accessibility to public transport, and even public parks. The main goal of having this kind of rating systems is in to encourage green building systems. For example, by making public transport easily accessible to the public, the need for personal cars is greatly reduces. This in turn reduces the level of carbon emissions from the cars.

An attempt has also been made to protect building in sensitive locations like;

a. Wetlands: a wetland is distinct area where that is seasonally or permanently flooded with water. Building in such areas should be limited since the water is essential for human survival. Water in such areas also supports various Eco-systems and thus should not be tampered with. Building near wetlands also promotes pollution and thus should be avoided.

b. Prime farmland: this is a designated place by the United States department of agriculture that has the best physical and chemical environmental conditions for agricultural activities. They also need to be protected.

c. Floodplains: this is a low-lying area that forms part of a river basin where the river stretches out across the banks during flooding. Building in such areas should be prohibited since they can cause collapse and loss of lives. Buildings in such areas are also prone to pollution and thus should be avoided.

How do people become successful as a real estate developer?
Roman55 [17]

Hello there!

A real estate developer job is to get houses to sell them, get land to build houses and sell them, and get previous owned houses and sell them. They pretty much get property and sell it. As a real estate developer, the main goal that someone should have is to make more money than they paid for the property. This means that they would need to be making profit in order to really see a progress in income.

Let's give you an example when a real estate developer buys a house:

Johan, a real estate developer, bought a house $275,000. He then goes on a website and advertises the house for $285,000.

What Johan is trying to do here is make profit form the house he just purchased, since the extra money he will be getting if the house is sold will be a surplus to the original amount.

Let's give you an example when a real estate developer buys land:

Susan buys 1 acre of land for $1.2 million, she then has a construction crew build a house, and that costed her $750,000.

At the end of the day, Susan spent $1.95 million (1,950,000) on the house in total.

She then sells the house on a website for $2.5 million (2,500,000).

This means that Susan made a surplus of $550,000 from the price she originally payed for.

It's best when a real estate developer sells property for more than what they payed for, so they would be making profit (extra money). It's bad when a real estate developer tries to sell a house for lower than they originally payed for, then they would be losing money. That's why when there is a specific price for a house, a real estate developer usually doesn't want to drop the price of the house any cheaper; they want to stick with their price so they could make money.

A real estate developer could also start their own company, and make more profit if they stick to the trick of selling the property for more than what they paid for. If they stick to the trick, then they would be making even more money since they would have multiple people in a company doing it all at once, in different places too.
