ADVANTAGES OF RANDOMIZED CONTROLLED TRIAL

1)It does not give room to bias treatment as individuals are selected randomly.

2)It aids blinding of identity of treatment from investigators,participants and assessors.

3)One treatment is compared to another to establish best treatment approach.

DISADVANTAGES OF RANDOMIZED CONTROLLED DATA

1)Clinical trial that test for efficacy may not be generally applicable.

2) Results gotten may not be compared to real life situation.

3)It is expensive to run and it also wasted time to conduct .
