You need homeostasis to survive. Homeostasis is what warms up your body when your body's core temperature lessens. It also cools you down when you are very hot. For example, when you are very hot your body will release sweat particles to cool you down. Without homeostasis you would suffer from hypothermia or heat stroke at a higher probability.
