Answer:

The distance cover by him walking back is 11.25 miles

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

Time for Janelle to spend on training = 5 hours

The  running speed of Janelle = 9 mph

The walking back with 3 mph

Let The distance for running and walking is same i.e  D miles

SO, Time = \frac{Distance}{Speed}

∴  5 =  \frac{D}{9} +  \frac{D}{3}

Or, 5 × 9 = D + 3 D

Or, 45 = 4 D

∴   D = \frac{45}{4} = 11.25 miles

Hence The distance cover by him walking back is 11.25 miles   Answer

-\dfrac{27}{25}x-\dfrac{9}{5}=-\dfrac{27}{25}x-\dfrac{9\cdot5}{5\cdot5}=-\dfrac{27}{25}x-\dfrac{45}{25}=\dfrac{-27-45}{25}\\\\=-\dfrac{72}{25}=\boxed{-2\dfrac{22}{25}}

horsena [70]
It's 125, because you can fit 5 cubes across, 5 cubes from one side to the other side, and you can stack 5 cubes up

5 x 5 x 5 =125

Ball B, with a mass of 30kg, is moving to the left at -10 m/s. With what velocity should Ball A, with a mass of 10 kg, move to t
tangare [24]
Initially, Ball A of 10 kg will have velocity x, while Ball B of 30 kg has velocity -10 m/s.
After collision, Ball A will have a velocity of -30 m/s, while Ball B will have velocity 10 m/s. We assume their masses do not change.
(10 kg)(x m/s) + (30 kg)(-10 m/s) = (10 kg)(-30 m/s) + (30 kg)(10 m/s)
10x - 300 = -300 + 300
x = 30 m/s (to the right)

Aisha went shopping for a new video game because of a sale. The store was offering a 5% discount. If the price on the tag was $2
Anastasy [175]

Answer:

$25.65

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we are applying a discount to a price tag, we will be <u>decreasing</u> the amount of that price tag.

In this case, we will be taking 5% off of $27. This means that our new price tag will be 95% of what it originally was. To find the answer, we must first change 95% into a decimal.

95% -> \frac{95}{100} -> 0.95

Next, we multiple $27 by 0.95 as shown below:

27(0.95)

Our answer will be:

$25.65
