Answer:

D. 367 calories is a correct option.

B. fiber is a correct option.

D. vitamin C is a correct option

Proton concentration build up during photosynthesis and cellular respiration in thylakoid lumen.

B.Vitamin B12 and vitamin C only

Explanation:Calories present in fat per gram is 9

so,7g of fat is 7*9=63

Calories present in carbohydrates per gram is 4

so,34g of carbohydrates is equals to 34*4= 136

Calories present in protein per gram is 4

so,42g of carbohydrates is equals to 42*4= 168

136+63+168=367g.

Explanation

Fiber is obtained from a plant source, which is not digested by the body because of it not soluble in water and it left undigested as the food passes to the gastrointestinal tract.

1 -

Calories per gram of:

Fat = 9

Charbohydrates ≈ 4

Proteins ≈ 4

So, now we do the math:

34g of charbohydrates equals 34*4g of calories, therefore, 136.

7g of fat equals 7*9g of calories, therefore, 63.

42g of protein equals 42*4g of calories, therefore, 168

136 + 168 + 63 = 367 grams

Answer:

367 grams of calories in the chicken multigrain sandwhich.

First let's see what does indigestible mean:

Indigestible means that the body does not digest that substance, it is eaten, and released. No modification happens to it.

Which of the components below are indigestible:

The only indigestible food component mentioned in exercise 2 is fiber. Fiber, which provides from plants, is not digestibe by the body.

Answer:

Fiber.

3 -

This is not my area of expertise, but I must say, it's kind of obvious that the deficiency the patient suffers is vitamin C deficiency.

In a vitamin C deficiency, patients suffer from things such as the ones mentioned in the question.

Answer:

Vitamin C.

During photosynthesis, protons build up in the thylakoid lumen/space. The left-overs of this building-up are then conduced to the stroma where they generate ATP.

Answer:

Thylakoid lumen.

Just with the salmon fillet, he has already eaten enough vitamin B12, more than 100% of the recommended daily allowance. The amount of vitamin E of the salmon fillet was low, and the amount of vitamin C was null.

The boiled green beans gave him quite a lot of the vitamin C he needs, but not enough. The vitamin E that the boiled green beens provided was also not enough. The amount of vitamin B12 was null.

The sliced strawberries where enough to back up the lack of vitamin C of the boiled green beans, but not enough to back up the lack of vitamin E. The amount of vitamin B12 was null.

Math:

If we do the math needed, we see that Robert only had enough vitamin B12 and C, and that he needed way more vitamin E.

Answer:

B. - Vitamin B12 and C only.

Hope it helped,

ryzh [129]

Thermohaline is a large scale ocean water circulation driven by density differences due to the changes in surface water temperatures and fresh water fluxes.

Explanation:

Thermohaline circulation is the ocean circulation driven by variation in ocean densities. The deep ocean currents are influenced variations in the temperature controlled water density (thermo) and the salinity (haline) of the ocean waters. This circulation happens due to the thermal and haline influences on the ocean waters.

Due to extremely cold water, the ocean waters in the Earth’s polar region gets very cold and forms sea ice leaving salt behind. This decreases sea water temperature but increases the salinity levels.

With increase in salinity, the density of the water also increases which makes the water heavy and sink and the surface water moves in to fill the sunken sea water.

Again this surface water also becomes cold and the cycle continues leading the global ocean conveyor belt and causes freshwater fluxes depending upon the latitude of the ocean.

Answer:

Abiotic factors, such as temperature, water, sunlight amounts, and regional terrain, directly effect biotic factors. Biotic factors are the living components of an ecosystem which include primary producers, consumers, and dexomposers.

Abiotic factors can effect organisms in many ways. Hey can effect primary producers negatively if there is too little sun, water, or nutrients in the soil. However, if there is too much of any one of these, they can still be negatively effected. With primary producers, it’s all about balance.

while consumers do not directly require the above conditions, they do rely on the plants and animals that feed on said plants to survive. If the plants do not have correct nutrients, they will not either. As far as terrain goes, they adapt to better cope with the environment. If they live in an aquatic enviromment for example, they acquire ways to more efficiently move through the water to look for food.

Decomposers rely on the remains of dead plants and animals in order to survive. They feed off of dead matter and the waste gets deposited into the soil. This in turn helps to give the soil its nutrients, and so the cycle continues.

Everything in nature is reliant on each other. This delicate balancing act is both beautiful and so very fragile. If one organism is removed, the entire ecosystem could suffer. This is why it is so critical to protect the environment we share with every other living creature on this earth.
