This is true but not for all numbers. Of course you can divide a number by 2 but if it’s an odd number the answer will be a decimal. But for example 24, the two digits are divisible by 2 and so is the original number. But for example 12, the digits aren’t divisible by 2 (the answer is 1.5) but the original number is.
