Steps:
1. 6x=4y + 7
2. You have to write it in slope intercept to get the slope and y-intercept.
3. Subtract 7 on both sides
4y= 6x-7
4. Divide everything by 4
5. Y= 3/2x + -7/4
6. Slope= 3/2 y-intercept= -7/4

Consider the given rectangle with heightequals4timeswidth. Let x be the width of the rectangle. Write an expression for the per
Salsk061 [2.6K]

Answer:

<h3>The expression for the perimeter P is P=\frac{784+h^2}{2h} feet.</h3><h3> Area=49=lx square feet ( here x=\frac{h}{4} )</h3>

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that rectangle with height equals 4times width.

It can be written as

h=4\times width

Let x be the width of the given rectangle

Therefore h=4\times x

h=4x

\frac{h}{4}=x

Rewritting the above equation we get

x=\frac{h}{4}

<h3>To write an expression for the perimeter P of the given rectangle :</h3>

Also given that area of the rectangle is 49 square feet.

Area=49 square feet.

We know area of rectangle = lw square units.

<h3>Therefore area=49=lx square feet ( here area=49 and w=x=\frac{h}{4} )</h3>

Rewritting we get

lx=49 square feet.

l=\frac{49}{x}

=\frac{49}{\frac{h}{4}}

l=\frac{49\times 4}{h}

<h3>l=\frac{196}{h} feet</h3><h3>Perimeter P=2(l+w) units </h3>

P=2(\frac{196}{h}+\frac{h}{4})

P=\frac{2(196)}{h}+\frac{2(h)}{4}

=\frac{392}{h}+\frac{h}{2}

=\frac{392(2)+h^2}{2h}

<h3>P=\frac{784+h^2}{2h} feet.</h3>

Sauron [17]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's FOIL out both sides and then see where we are after that:

x^2-5x+6=x^2+3x+2

Let's combine like terms now and get everything on one side of the equals sign and set the polynomial equal to 0 to solve for x:

0 = 8x - 4 and we can factor out a 4 to give us:

0 = 4(2x - 1)

Either 4 = 0 or 2x - 1 = 0.  Well it's obvious that 4 does not equal 0, so 2x-1 must equal 0.  Then

2x = 1 so

x = 1/2 or choice A on the left.

Pizza-By-The-Slice sells 7 slices every 10 minutes on average. How many
Dvinal [7]
I think you’re answer is 42 slices of pizza.

the way i worked it out is by finding out how many minutes are in an hour (60 mins). after that i divided it by 10(mins), which would have gotten me 6. therefore i multiplied 7 x 6 which gave me 42.
