The Gods turned Procne into a swallow...

...and Tereus into a hawk...

He suffered for his crime by accidentally killing Procris with his spear...

Explanation:

In Greek mythology, Procne was the daughter of Athens' King Pandion. After Procne killed Itys and served his boiled remains to her husband Tereus, he tried to kill them upon realizing the fact.

It was then that Procne and her sister Philomela begged and prayed to the Gods to help them. The Gods answered their prayers, turning Procne into a swallow, Philomela transformed into a nightingale and Tereus became a hawk (or hoopoe).

Procne's niece, Procris, married Cephalus, who doubted her fidelity. He suffered for his crime by accidentally killing Procris with his javelin (spear). The spear had the capability of never missing its mark. Apparently, Cephalus had mistaken her sounds for that of an animal and had thrown the javelin in that direction.

Answer: Your question is not complete, please let me assume this to be your complete question.

Although evidence is mounting that high involvement, high performance or high commitment management practices demonstrate positive economic returns, trends in actual management practice are often moving exactly opposite to what this evidence indicates?

Is this Statement True or False.

ANSWER: FALSE

Explanation: Management practice are those principles and skills a manager uses to manage an event or resources. For example, staffing method, payment methods, business strategy, and many more.

A positive economics returns is when profit has been made from a business.

In actual management practice, if a manger is committed and high performance of management practice is shown, they will definitely be a good economic returns. Kay [80]

Answer:

The statement is true. A patrol is a temporary and specifically matched detachment tasked by a larger unit to conduct specific tasks (combat, reconnaissance, or security missions) where they operate semi-independently and return to the main body upon completion of their mission.

Explanation:

Military patrols are tasked with providing security to the units on the ground, but must be separated from reconnaissance. Patrolling can be carried out in the occupied area or behind enemy lines. It can be done on foot or with special land, air or water vehicles. Normally, patrols use a smaller number of troops, and the armament is tailored to the terrain and how troops are being moved through it.
