Answer:

The rate of change of population is 16.69%.

Step-by-step explanation:

Rate of increase is defined as the ratio of difference of quantity increased by the original quantity multiplied by 100

that is \text{Rate}=\dfrac{\text{Increased quantity - original quantity}}{\text{Original quantity}} \times 100   ...........(1)

To find the rate of increased population of t town from 47,230 to 55,112

Here, original population = 47,230

Increased population = 55,112

Put the values in (1),

\text{Rate}=\dfrac{55112-47230}{47230} \times 100

\text{Rate}=\dfrac{7882}{47230} \times 100

\text{Rate}=16.69(approx)

Thus, the rate of change of population is 16.69%.

Solve the equation. 8x2 – 4 = 28
Flura [38]
Hello,

Your answer would be 2, -2.

8x^2 - 4 = 28

8x^2-4+4=28+4

8x^2 = 32

\frac{8x^2}{8}=  \frac{32}{8}

x^2 = 4

x = +/4

x = 2 or x = -2

2 , -2 would be the answer! :)

Find x in the given figure. answers: 18 144 24 9
Blababa [14]

Answer:

x = 24°

Step-by-step explanation:

To find 'x', the Alternate Exterior angle postulate will need to be used.

'4x + 9' and '2x + 27' are alternate exterior angles. Therefore, they must sum up to 180.

180 = 4x + 9 + 2x + 27

Combine like terms:

180 = 6x + 36

144 = 6x

x = 24°
