Calculus! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I NEED HELP!!?
statuscvo [17]
We do
how much added-howmuch subtracted

\int\limits^5_0 {F(t)} \, dt - \int\limits^5_0 {E(t)} \, dt
or
\int\limits^5_0 {F(t)-E(t)} \, dt
so
first simlify F(t)-E(t) (if you want, not necicary if use calculator)
(t+7-ln(t+4))/(t+2)=F(t)-E(t)

evaluate
\int\limits^5_0  \frac{t+7-ln(t+4)}{t+2} } \, dt≈9.05584

Bell skates at 10 miles per hour and Kristin skates at 14 mile per hour. if they keep up that pace for 4 5 hours, how far apart
AVprozaik [17]
Bell:
1 hour = 10 miles
4.5 hours = 10 x 4.5 = 45 miles.

Kristin:
1 hour = 14 miles
4.5 hours = 14 x 4.5 = 63 miles

Difference in distance = 63 - 45 = 18 miles.

Answer: They will be 18 miles apart.

Find the values of x and y.
Elis [28]

Answer:

Option A

x=6 , y=9

Step-by-step explanation:

As we can see in the figure that point T is the mid point of rectangle and there are two diagonals QS and PR

So in basic geometry we know that the length of the diagonal from the mid point i.e. Taking the diagonal QS the length of QT and TS would be equal because they are same diagonal which is cut into two parts by point T

Similarly the Length of RT and the length of TP would be same

From all this we deduct that

3x = 2y              ..................(i)

and

y + 3 = 2x           ................(ii)

From equation (i)

3x = 2y

Dividing both sides by 3 the equation becomes

x= \frac{2y}{3}                ....................(iii)

Putting this value in equation (ii)

y + 3 = 2(\frac{2y}{3})

y+3 =\frac{4y}{3}

multiplying both sides by 3

3(y+3)=\frac{4y*3}{3}

the equation becomes

3y+9=4y

subtracting 3y from both sides

3y-3y+9=4y-3y

y=9

Putting the value of y in equation (iii)

x= \frac{2*9}{3}

solving it

x= \frac{18}{3}

x=6

so x=6 and y=9 is answer which is option A

The length of a rectangle is 2 times the width. If the perimeter is to be less than 96 meters. What are the possible
tiny-mole [99]

Answer:

W>16

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for calculating the perimeter of a rectangle:

P = 2L+2W

L is the length of the rectangle

W is the width of the rectangle:

Given

P = 96m

If the length of a rectangle is 2 times the width, then L = 2W

Substitute into the formula:

Since the perimeter is less than 96m

96 < 2(2W)+2W

96 < 4W+2W

96 < 6W

Divide both sides by 6:

96/6 < 6W/6

16 < W

W>16

Hence the possible values of the width are all values greater than 16.
