Perimeter is 2width+2length
Therefore since you already know that the perimeter is 60 and the length is 14 you can set up the equation;
60= 2w+14
with this you then need to find w so;
60=2w+14
-14     -14
46=2w
(46/2)=(2w/2)
13=w
The width is 13

Perimeter= length+length+width+width

if one side is 14 the other side is too :
14 + 14 = 28

now subtract :
60-28=32

then divide to find the width :
32÷2=16

the width of the rectangle is 16 meters

hope this helped

Write the equation of the circle centered at (0,1) with radius 15.
NNADVOKAT [17]

Answer:

x^2+(y-1)^2=225

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

The equation of the circle in center radius form is equal to

(x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2

where

(h,k) is the center of the circle

r is the radius of the circle

In this problem we have

(h,k)=(0,1)\\r=15\ units

substitute

(x-0)^2+(y-1)^2=15^2

x^2+(y-1)^2=225

Step-by-step explanation:

"The total number of dollars in fives and tens" tells you that these denominations are being added together.  Because a five dollar bill is worth $5 and a ten dollar bill is worth $10, then the number of $5 bills is represented by 5f and a the number of $10 bills is represented by 10t.  Therefore,

T = 5f + 10t
