Question

I feel like I'm waiting for something to happen, maybe some song on the radio to catch my ear and speak to me the way they never will, maybe even help me start to heal...
It makes me want to write something down, but I know it won't be found; even if is no one's gonna' a song that has no hero..is simply hopeless..is simply true...
It'd be so easy to mess it all up again and again and again...

I love writing songs but a lot of the time I have the same problem as you. I try just writing about something going on in my life but in a poem and then come up with a good melody that goes with it. Try that
