Which of these transformations appear to be a rigid motion? <br> Please help me!!!!!
Alenkasestr [34]

The answer is the third answer choice, I and II only.

This is because both of those motions are rigid since they are just reflections and III is not a rigid motion since it is a dilation, the second triangle is bigger than the first.

Hope this helps!

What single transformation maps ∆ABC onto ∆A'B'C'? A. rotation 90° clockwise about the origin B. rotation 90° counterclockwise a
Klio2033 [76]

Answer:

B. rotation 90° counterclockwise about the origin.

Step-by-step explanation:

Transformation is the process by which the size or orientation of a given figure is altered without any effect on its shape. Examples are; rotation, reflection, translation and dilation.

Rotation is the process of turning a figure about a reference point called the origin. While reflection is turning a figure about a line to produce its image.

In the given question, ∆ABC is  mapped onto ∆A'B'C' by rotating it at 90° counterclockwise about the origin.

How much money will you have at the end of one year if interest is compounded semiannually at 10% on a $600 deposit?
Masja [62]
The formula required to answer this is:
A=P(1+\frac{r}{n})^{nt}
where  A is the amount of the principal P after n compounding periods per year at r interest rate (as a decimal fraction).
Plugging in the given values, we get:
A=600(1+\frac{0.1}{2})^{2\times1}=661.5
Rounding to the nearest dollar, we get $662.00. Therefore a is the best answer choice.
