If it is prime, it cannot be split in 2 numbers that multiply to equal it. Look at the last number of the number to get a hint first. The last number of 52 is a 2. If you recall, any number that ends ina 2 or 0 can be divided by 2:

  52
  / \
2 26
    / \
   2 13

There the number is fully factored.

The price of a DVD is $19 . The price is 12% lower than last week. What was the price of the DVD last week? Round your answer to
nataly862011 [7]

Answer:

The original cost of the DVD was $21`.59

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to find this, you first must note that the new price is 88% of the older price. We get this since there was a subtraction of 12%.

Now knowing that, we can divide the new price by the percentage paid and it will give us the original price.

$19/88% = Original Cost

19/.88 = Original Cost

$21.59 = Original Cost

(Four-fifths + three-fifths) + 3.5 times 5
defon

Answer:

18.9

Step-by-step explanation:

First, lets solve for the fractions. You can divide the fractions from the top, to their bottom (4 divided by 5, 3 divided by 5), in this case, you get 1.4. Now you have to rewrite the problem: 1.4+3.5x5. You solve it, and get 18.9.

Julie gives 7 pieces of candy to each of her friends. If Julie gives all of her candy away, which amount of candy could have bee
True [87]
To find the answer to this problem, you just need to figure out which total amount of candy is divisible by 7.

161/7=23
162/7=23.1428571429
145/7=20.7142857143
128/7=18.2857142857

Obviously, Julie cannot give a fraction of an amount of candy to someone. So that rules out that she had 162, 145, or 128 pieces of candy.

The only amount of candies that Julie could have that is divisible by 7 is 161 candies, which means that 161 is your answer.
