During the Agricultural Revolution, the introduction of new agricultural tools and selective livestock breeding led to a major increase in farm production in England.

The increase in food production led to a sharp increase in the population.

However, the higher efficiency of production also resulted in many farm workers losing their livelihood.

The Agricultural revolution was a gradual change of the traditional agricultural system that began in Britain in the 18th century. One of the tranformations included the reallocation of land ownership to make farms more compact and an increased investment in technical improvements.

Zigmanuir [339]

The Articles of Confederation served as the written document that established the functions of the national government of the United States after it declared independence from Great Britain.

The Articles of Confederation was the first Constitution in the national government of the United States which meant that it was the first constitution to establish a national U.S. government. The preservation of the states power' freedom and independence was a driving concept of the Articles.

However, it needed to be replaced because it had created a very weak national government and by so doing, threatened the unity of the nation because the national government might be unable to keep states from going against each other.
