Answer:

The correct answer would be :

independent variable : use of pen or pencil

Dependent variable : test scores (test of learning ability)

Explanation:

Independent variable of any scientific investigation or experiment is a variable that is manipulated or changed to see the change in dependent variable. In this case the variable that is changed or manipulated is use of pen or pencil to see that effect on learning ability.

Dependent variable is something that is measured or calculated to find the effect of the independent variable. In this case the dependent variable is test score that will provide idea that if hunch of scientist is true or not.

Thus, the correct answer would be :

independent variable : use of pen or pencil

Dependent variable : test scores (test of learning ability)

Identify the mutagenic effects of deaminating agents, alkylating agents, and base analogs.
Mila [183]
All are mutagenic because they cause base substitutions, deaminating agents oxidatively deaminate bases so cytosine converted to uracil and adenine converted to hypoxanthine, uracil pairs with adenine and hypoxanthine pairs with cytosine, alkylating agents donate alkyl group to amino or keto groups altering base pair affinities

IF there were a membrane separating two solutions one with 80% solute and the other with 20% solute, in which direction through
aliya0001 [1]

Answer:

toward the 20% solute side of the membrane

Explanation:

that is the process of osmosis, in which the water moves in the direction that tends to equalize the solute concentrations on the two sides.

Basically it's to make it 50% 50%, so the water moves to the 20% solute side to raise the %

I hope it's clear enough.
