disadvantages

they cannot pass laws that violates the constitution, they can't favor one state over another, they cannot tax exports..

advantages of executive branch

the president has many opportunites to send his message to the people,the president term is more stable.

disadvantage,

sometimes the president can be very powerful,

it's hard to reach an agreement between legislative and executive branch..and it's very hard to impeach(remove) the president from his office.
