To subtract integers, all you have to do is change the sign on the integer that is to be subtracted. If both signs are positive, then our answer will be positive. If both signs are negative, then our answer will become negative. If the signs are different then you are going to want to subtract the smaller absolute value from the larger absolute value.

Answer:

200.3 cm

210 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

to find the mean add all the numbers up and then divide it by the total number sampled

so we have

(198+199*3+200*2+201*5+202*2)/13

which gives you around 200.3

To find the height of the new player we have the following equation

let x be the height of  the new player

\frac{(198+199*3+200*2+201*5+202*2)+x}{14}=201

solve for x and get

210 cm

15 POINTS! PLEASE HELP!
notka56 [123]

Answer:

DC = 1332.95 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

From the figure attached,

Let the measure of DC = h ft

And measure of side BC = a ft

By applying tangent ratio in ΔBCD,

tan(56°) = \frac{\text{Opposite side}}{\text{Adjacent side}}

             = \frac{DC}{BC}

             = \frac{h}{a}

h = a[tan(56°)] --------(1)

By applying tangent rule in ΔACD,

tan(22°) = \frac{\text{Opposite side}}{\text{Adjacent side}}

tan(22°) = \frac{DC}{BC+AC}

             = \frac{h}{a+2400}

h = (a + 2400)tan(22°) ------- (2)

Equating the values of h from equations (1) and (2),

a[tan(56°)] = (a + 2400)tan(22°)

a[tan(56°) - tan(22°)] = 2400[tan(22°)]

1.0785a = 968.6629

a = 899.085 ft

From equation (1),

h = 899.085[tan(56°)]

h = 1332.948

h ≈  1332.95 ft

Answer:

5 + 3i

Step-by-step explanation:

7 + 9i - (2 + 6i) ← distribute parenthesis by - 1

= 7 + 9i - 2 - 6i

= (7 - 2) + (9i -6i)

= 5 + 3i
