Answer:

The answer is 4.2 kilograms of dog food

Step-by-step explanation:

it says that ray feeds his dog 0.12 kilogram of food each day

he needs for 1 month

1 month = 31 days or 30 days

since 1 day food is 0.12 kilograms you'll have to multiply 0.12 with 1 month

i.e; 0.12*31 or 0.12*30

0.12*31=3.72 and 0.12*30=3.6

since we don't have an option we'll have to choose something bigger than this

therefore, the answer is 4.2

Harman [31]

A charity organization had to sale 18 tickets to their fundraiser Just to cover necessary production cost. They sold each ticket for $45.Let y represent the net profit in dollars when they have sold x tickets

Which of the following information about the graph of the relationship is given?

Choose 1 answer:

A

Slope and x-intercept

B

Slope and y-intercept

C

Slope and a point that is not an intercept

D

x-intercept and y-intercept

E

y-intercept and a point that is not an intercept

F

Two points that are not intercepts

Answer:

A. Slope and x-intercept

Step-by-step explanation:

We are told that each Ticket cost $45 , so the number of ticket sold should be multiplied by the cost of 1 ticket , Also; we were informed that x tickets were sold, this implies that the amount will be $45 multiplied by x , which is $45x. To find the profit (y) , then we must find the cost of 18 tickets which will give us the cost price and then subtract it from the selling price ($45x).

NOW:

Given that :

a charity organization had to sell 18 tickets

and one ticket cost for $45

Then 18 tickets = $45 × 18 = $810

Let y represent the net profit in dollars when they have sold x tickets

So : y = 45 x - 810

Relating the above equation with equation of a straight line y = mx +c ,

where :

m and c = the numbers on the gradient line ; &

y = slope

x = intercept where the graph crosses y - axis

Thus; the information given is the :Slope and x-intercept

The price of tickets for the dance was 1 ticket for $6 or 2 tickets for $8 she looked inside the cash box and found $200 and tic
Aleks04 [339]

We can say that exchanging one couple's ticket for an individual's ticket would increase the money in the cash box from 200 to 202 and it would result in an even number of couples tickets sold.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number of tickets sold to the individuals = s

Let the number of tickets sold to the couples = c

According to the question,

s + c = 46 ( Equation 1)

Since each individual's ticket is $6, the total amount of money made by selling tickets to individuals is 6s.

Similarly, since each ticket sold to couples is $8, the total amount of money made by selling tickets to couples is 8c.

So,

6 s + 8 c = 200 ( Equation 2)

On solving both the equations, we get

c = 38 and s = 8

Therefore, 8 tickets were sold to individuals and 38 tickets were sold to the couples.
