Answer:

The answer is 4.2 kilograms of dog food

Step-by-step explanation:

it says that ray feeds his dog 0.12 kilogram of food each day

he needs for 1 month

1 month = 31 days or 30 days

since 1 day food is 0.12 kilograms you'll have to multiply 0.12 with 1 month

i.e; 0.12*31 or 0.12*30

0.12*31=3.72 and 0.12*30=3.6

since we don't have an option we'll have to choose something bigger than this

therefore, the answer is 4.2

In this exercise, we estimate the rate at which the total personal income is rising in a metropolitan area. In 1999, the populat
DiKsa [7]

Answer:

the rate at which total personal income was rising in the area in 1999 is $1,580,507,200 billion

Step-by-step explanation:

From the given information:

Let consider y to represent the number of years after 1999

Then the population in time (y) can be expressed as:

P(y) = 9400y + 924900

The average annual income can be written as:

A(y) = 1400y + 30388

The total personal income = P(y)  ×  A(y)

The rate at which the total personal income is rising is T'(y) :

T'(y) = P'(y)  ×  A(y)  + P(y)  ×  A'(y)

T'(y) = (9400y + 924900)' (1400y + 30388) + (9400y + 924900) (1400y + 30388)'

T'(y) = 9400(1400y + 30388) + (9400y + 924900) 1400

Since in 1999 y =0

Then:

T'(0) = 9400(1400(0) + 30388) + (9400(0) + 924900) 1400

T'(0) = 9400(30388) + (924900)1400

T'(0) = $1,580,507,200 billion

Therefore; the rate at which total personal income was rising in the area in 1999 is $1,580,507,200 billion

Write the fraction 36/40 in simplest form.
Vlad1618 [11]
36/40 is the same as 9/10.
36 goes into four, nine times. 36 / 4 = 9.
40 goes in four, ten times. 40 / 4 = 10.
If you are dividing a number by a fraction, lets say the numerator, then the same number you divided has to be divided by the denominator.
For example:
5/30
The numerator 5 goes into five, one time, because 5 / 5 = 1
You divide the same number 5, for the denominator also.
30 goes into five, six times, because 30 / 5 = 6
The simplest form of 5/30 is 1/6.
Hope this helps!
