Over time, some organisms have co-evolved so they mutually benefit and depend upon one another. Many plants, for example, have d

eveloped adaptations in order to attract specific animals that can spread their pollen or seeds and ensure the plant's reproductive success.
Which of the following is an example of this type of co-evolution?
A.
A flower develops a yellow and blue color, so it can be seen by bees which are attracted to these colors.

B.
A flower develops a musty odor and only opens at night to attract nocturnal bats with a similar odor.

The correct answer is - D. all of these.

The collaboration between different types of organisms in nature is not something weird, it actually happens quite a lot. When we have a situation where two or more organisms have developed a relationship from which both of them benefit, we are talking about mutualistic symbiotic relationship.

The flowers and the pollinating animals are perfect example of this type of relationship. The flowers develop certain color or smell that will attract certain type of the pollinators. They will be attracted by the flower and pollinate it. The flower will become fertilized in that way, while the animal will get food source. Also, the pollinating animal will disperse the pollen in the surrounding area.

A cloud directly above you is about 10° across. From the weather report, you know that the cloud is at an altitude of 2200 m. Ho
Vikentia [17]

The width of the cloud is : 384 m

Given data :

Cloud altitude = 2200 m

Temperature = 10°

Determine how wide the cloud is

applying the equation below

I = d(\frac{\alpha }{57.3})

where : I = linear size , d = 2200 m , \alpha = 10^{o}

therefore :

I = 2200 ( 10 / 57.3 )

= 383.94 m

≈ 384 m

Hence we can conclude that the width of the cloud is : 384 m

Aleksandr-060686 [28]

Answer: Moral compass

Explanation:

Most people's values are not a system at all; they are typically a collection of general principles, practical conclusions, and emotional pronouncements. Your challenge is to create a more refined and accurate moral compass, an enlightened system of values that you can use to guide your moral decisions.

When we talk about moral compass, we're referring to a gut feeling that allows that to difference what's right and what's wrong to say or do, and this is the feeling we use as a guide for everytime we've got to take a path of action.

How does carbon enter water? How does aquatic plants get carbon?
lakkis [162]
"How does carbon enter water?" : Carbon dioxide from the atmosphere dissolves in the surface waters of the ocean. Some of the carbon dioxide stays as dissolved gas, but much of it gets turned into other things. Photosynthesis by tiny marine plants (phytoplankton) in the sunlit surface waters turns the carbon into organic matter.

"How does aquatic plants get carbon" : The only difference between photosynthesis in aquatic and land plants is where in their environments they get these nutrients. Land plants get water from the ground through their extensive root system, carbon dioxide from the air through their stomata (tiny holes in a plant's leaves), and energy from the sun.
