Answer:

The maximum number of songs that the symphonic choir can record is 14

Step-by-step explanation:

Let

x ----> the number of songs of the symphonic choir

we know that

The number of songs of the jazz choir multiplied by its average time per song plus the the number of songs of the symphonic choir multiplied by its average time per song, must be less than or equal to 72 minutes

so

The inequality that represent this situation is

3(7)+3.5(x)\leq 72

solve for x

21+3.5x\leq 72

subtract 21 both sides

3.5x\leq 51

divide by 3.6 both sides

x\leq 14.6\ songs

therefore

The maximum number of songs that the symphonic choir can record is 14

Answer:

The property used in the simplification is: Distributive Property.

Step-by-step explanation:

" The distributive property is used to combine the two terms that had the same variable. The distributive property is the key to combining expressions with like terms.

Terms are like terms when they have the exact same variables with the exact same exponents" .

Hence, the property used in the simplification of this expression is a distributive property.

Solve. −1.2z−8.2>−9.7
Nikitich [7]

Answer: z

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve this problem you must apply the proccedure shown below:

Add 8.2 to both sides of the inequality. Then, you obtain:

-1.2z-8.2+8.2>-9.7+8.2\\-1.2z>-1.5

Now you must divide both sides by -1.2, as you can see below:

\frac{-1.2z}{-1.2}>\frac{-1.5}{-1.2}

(The direction of the sign will change).

Therefore, you obtain the following solution:

z
