I'm not too sure if this a a question for school but i think it really depends

on what Sammy wanna wear. I would also say she may wear black pants and a striped shirt because of the amount she has of them. All the other clothes have only two pairs, So because she has more than two pairs for black pants and striped, it means that she likes that outfit of the black pants and striped shirt so she will most likely wear them.

Ian often buys in large quantities. A few months ago he bought several cans of frozen orange juice for $24. The next time Ian pu
ANEK [815]
For the answer to the question above asking, w<span>hat was the price per can and the numbers of cans purchased each time?
let x be the number of cans he bought
the let us go to the 2nd statement which is t</span><span>he next time Ian purchased frozen orange juice, the price had increased by $0.10 per can and he bought 1 less can for the same total price.
The equation for this is .10(x-1) = 24
So now let's solve,
</span> .10(x-1) = 24
.10x - .10 = 24
.10x = 24+ .10
.10x = 24.10
Then divide both sides by .10
So the answer for this question is
241 cans of juice

2. Solve the following system of equations using substitution.
SOVA2 [1]
First, make sure you convert both equations into standard form. Your two equations would be 2x+2y=38 and -x+y=3. Then multiply the bottom by 2. So your new equations would be 2x+2y=38 and -2x+2y=6. The x would cancel out and you would continue solving for y. y would equal 11 and then you would plug it back into an original equation. When you plug and solve for x, you would get x=8. So your answer would be (8,11)

Bianca needs to paint a logo made using two right triangles. The dimensions of the logo are shown below. What is the difference
Rina8888 [55]
Correct Answer: 4.5 cm²

Two triangles of different sizes make up the logo. We are to find the difference in the areas of these triangle. Smaller triangle has a base of 2 cm and height 6 cm. Larger triangle has the base of 3 cm and height 7 cm.

Area of the triangle = \frac{1}{2} x Base x Height

So,
Area of smaller triangle = \frac{1}{2} *(2)(6)=6 cm²
Area of larger triangle = \frac{1}{2} *(3)(7)=10.5 cm²

The difference in the areas of triangles = 10.5 - 6 = 4.5 cm²<span />

Solve y = f(x) = (2x+1)^1/2<br><br> &amp; g(x) = x-1
snow_lady [41]

Answer:

f(x) = x = \frac{y^{2} - 1}{2}

g(x) = 1

Step-by-step explanation:

y = (2x + 1)^1/2

y^{2} = 2x + 1

y^{2} - 1 = 2x

\frac{y^{2} - 1}{2} = x

y = x - 1

y + 1 = x
