Given that the solution set to a system of three linear equations is a line, this is true about the system: The system can only be dependent and consistent.

When three linear equations result to what looks like a single line in a graph, it means that the system is dependent and consistent. All the points of these lines intersect at every point along their lengths. The solution is the whole line

What does the t-coordinate of the solution to this system represent? the time at which the ball and the dog hit the ground the t
Margaret [11]

The t-coordinate of the solution to this system represents C. the time at which the ball and the dog's mouth are at the same height.

How to explain the coordiante?

A coordinate time scale is a time standard designed for use as the time coordinate in the calculation.

When Laurie throws a tennis ball toward her dog from a height, the t-coordinate of the solution to this system represents the time at which the ball and the dog's mouth are at the same height

The complete question is:

Laurie throws a tennis ball toward her dog from a height of 4.5 ft. The initial vertical velocity of the ball is 18 ft/s. At the same time as Laurie throws the ball, her dog jumps with an initial vertical velocity of 21 ft/s. When the dog jumps, its mouth is 1.5 ft above the ground. What does the t-coordinate of the solution to this system represent?

Find the value of x.
Travka [436]
In order to solve you must find the value of the blank angle.
Here is your first equation.
126 + x = 180
Subtract 126 from both sides.
x = 54
So now add up all the angles.
x + (2x + 6) + 54 = 180
Combine like terms.
3x + 60 = 180
Subtract 60 from both sides.
3x = 120
Divide.
x = 40
Now check your answer.
40 + 2(40) + 6 + 54 = 180
40 + 80 + 6 + 54 = 180
120 + 60 = 180
180 = 180
There is a solution. The answer is 40.
I hope this helps love! :)

Please help geometry work coordinates
Studentka2010 [4]

Answer:

(a,a)

Step-by-step explanation:

Keep in mind that the vertical line represents the y axis and the horizontal line represents the x axis

We want to find the coordinates of C

We can do this by looking at the given coordinates and the axis..

We are given that B is at (0,a) and we are given that D is at (a,0)

Now looking at C, we can tell that C shares the same y value as B and the same x value as D

If B has a y value of a and D has an x value of a then C would have an x and y value of a

Hence C would be at (a,a)
