Answer:

7.65%.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are supposed to tell me percentage for FICA that an employee pays.

We know that Federal Insurance Contributions Act is comprised of the social security tax and medicare tax.

The social security tax is 6.2% and social security tax is 1.45%.

FICA=\text{Social security tax}+\text{Medicare tax}

FICA=6.2\%+1.45\%

FICA=7.65\%

Therefore, an employee pays 7.65% percentage for FICA.

In ∆ABC, AC = 15 centimeters, m B = 68°, and m C = 24°. What is BC to two decimal places?
PSYCHO15rus [73]
I dont know which math you are in but you can use the law of sins. (A/sin(a))=(B/sin(b)) where the capital letters are the sides (in this case you would put AC or whatever side length it is) and the lower case letters are the measures on the angles.
that may have been confusing but look up the laws of sines and cosine because you'll need to learn them and it's very helpful.
15/sin68 = x/sin88      x is the side BC and to get angle A, do 180-68-24
so x= sin88 (15/sin68)
so the answer to this question would be 16.17 cm

Find the midpoint of diagonal BD. Figure ABCD is shown. A is at negative 3, 2. B is at 0, 6. C is at 6, 6. D is at 3, 2.
12345 [234]
We just need the points B and D to solve this. B = (0,6) and D = (3,2).
Add the components together and average them.

midpoint(B,D) = ((0 + 3) / 2) , ((6 + 2) / 2)

= (1.5, 4)

Hopefully this is the right answer.

The point (21,32) is on a line with slope 1.5.
Oxana [17]
We can use the equation: y=mx+b
x represents the x-value, y represents the y-value, m represents slope, and b represent the y-intercept.

We must plug in what we know in order to find the value of b.
32 = 1.5*21 + b
32 = 31.5 + b
So b = 0.5

Now we know our equation is y = 1.5x + 0.5

We can find any other point on the line by plugging in any x-value. Let's try 5.
y = 1.5*5 + 0.5
So y =8 and our point is (5,8)
