The volume of the figure is 10 cubic units, if a prism of volume 15 with a pyramid of the same height cut out.

Step-by-step explanation:

The given is,

                A prism of volume 15

                A pyramid of the same height cut out

               For the above question diagram is missing, so i attach the diagram.

Step:1

            Ref the attachment,

                   Volume of figure = Volume of Prism - Volume of Pyramid....(1)

Step:2

           From the given diagram,

           Formula for volume of prism,

                                     V_{prism} = whl......................(2)

          Where, w - Width of the prism

                        h - Height of prism

                         l - Length of prism

        From the given,

        Volume, V = 15 cubic units

                         l = a

                       w = b

                        h = c

         Equation (1) becomes,

                                    15 = abc

                                      c = \frac{15}{ab}

Step:3

          Volume of pyramid, V = \frac{whl}{3}..........................(2)

          where,

                      w - Width of pyramid

                       h - Height of pyramid

                        l - Length of pyramid

           From the given,

                      l = a

                    w = b

                     h = c

         From the volume of prism, h = c = \frac{15}{ab}

         Equation (2) becomes,

                                           V_{pyramid} = (\frac{ab}{3} )(\frac{15}{ab  } )

                                                         = 5

                                          V_{pyramid} = 5 cubic units

Step:4

        Equation (1) becomes,

                         Volume of figure = 15 - 5

                                                       = 10 cubic units

Result:

        The volume of the figure is 10 cubic units, if a prism of volume 15 with a pyramid of the same height cut out.

Butoxors [25]

Answer:

The first store

Step-by-step explanation:

Given data

Let us find the unit cost on each sale

A price for pineapples is $5 for two pineapples

Unit cost per pineapple

=5/2

=$2.5 per pineapple

price for pineapple is $8 for four pineapples

Unit cost

=8/4

=$2 per pineapple

Hence the first store offers the lowest price per pineapple $2.5

A spring is attatched at one end to support B and at the other end to collar A, as represented in the figure. Collar A slides al
m_a_m_a [10]

Step-by-step explanation:

cos θ = 3 / AB

When θ = 28°:

cos 28° = 3 / AB

AB = 3 / cos 28°

AB ≈ 3.4

When AB = 5.2:

cos θ = 3 / 5.2

θ = cos⁻¹(3 / 5.2)

θ ≈ 54.8°

The function f(x) = x] is graphed over the interval [-6, 3]. Which translation of the graph has the domain (-3, 6]? 0 A. g(x) =
bezimeni [28]

An interval graph in graphical theory is indeed an undirected graph formed by an interval set just on true line, with a top for every interval as well as an edge between vertex v to intersections. Graph intervals and these graphs are chordal graphs and graphs that are perfect, and the further discussion can be defined as follows:

Given:

\bold{function\ f(x) = |x|}

\bold{Interval \ \[-6, 3\]}

To find:

Domain=?

Solution:

The \bold{function\ f(x) = |x|} is a graphic over the[-6,3] interval.

A<em><u> graph of the domain</u></em> [-3,6 ] is indicated mostly by the <em><u>transformation </u></em>that <em><u>horizontal shifts</u></em> to combat (h(x)=f(x-3)).

\to \bold{h(x) =f(x-3)}

            =|x-3|

Therefore, the final answer is "Option (D)".
