It made lots of money for industrialists, tycoons, british investors, prospectors headed further west, and copper, gold, sliver mines sprang up, farmland that was free was taken at come and go basis by pioneers.

What happened after burgoyne surrendered

Burgoyne's surrender followed battles with American General Horatio Gates near Saratoga in September and October 1777. With the British losing men and defenses during both engagements, Burgoyne retreated with a weakened army to Saratoga, where he surrendered to General Gates.

2. To be honest and not from section 6, they didn't have any constitutional rights but if it's from the section, they had the right to freedom of speech, beliefs and opinion.
