If the brackets need to be a square term of the form (x+h)^2
then
just half the co-efficient of x term and square it.

So here it will be
(-6)/2 = -3
squaring it, (-3)^2 = 9

so 9 is what goes in the blank to make the bracket () of the form (x+h)^2

What value(s) of x make the following equation true?
2x - 6 = 3x + 1 - 2x - 7
omeli [17]

Answer:

x = 0

Step-by-step explanation:

2x−6=3x+1−2x−7

Step 1: Simplify both sides of the equation.

2x−6=3x+1−2x−7

2x+−6=3x+1+−2x+−7

2x−6=(3x+−2x)+(1+−7)(Here we Combine Like Terms)

2x−6=x+−6

2x−6=x−6

Step 2: Subtract x from both sides.

2x−6−x=x−6−x

x−6=−6

Step 3: Add 6 to both sides.

x−6+6=−6+6

x=0

Multiply: x^2×y^2 × mn / x^11
MAVERICK [17]

Answer:

Answer: |

1/(a b x y)

Step-by-step explanation:

Simplify the following:

(x^2 y^2 m n x^8 y^9 m n)/(x^11 y^12 m^2 n^2 a b)

Combine powers. (m n x^8 y^9 m n x^2 y^2)/(a b m^2 n^2 x^11 y^12) = (m^(1 + 1 - 2) n^(1 + 1 - 2) x^(8 + 2 - 11) y^(9 + 2 - 12))/(a b):

(m^(1 + 1 - 2) n^(1 + 1 - 2) x^(8 + 2 - 11) y^(9 + 2 - 12))/(a b)

1 + 1 - 2 = 0:

(m^0 n^(1 + 1 - 2) x^(8 + 2 - 11) y^(9 + 2 - 12))/(a b)

1 + 1 - 2 = 0:

(m^0 n^0 x^(8 + 2 - 11) y^(9 + 2 - 12))/(a b)

8 + 2 - 11 = -1:

(m^0 n^0 x^(-1) y^(9 + 2 - 12))/(a b)

9 + 2 - 12 = -1:

(m^0 n^0 y^(-1))/(x a b)

n^0 = 1:

m^0/(a b x y)

m^0 = 1:

Which ordered pair is the solution to the system of equations below using the elimination method?
kodGreya [7K]
15x-3y=27
5x+4y=14

multiply (2nd) equation by (3)
15x + 12y = 42

15x - 3y=27
15x + 12y = 42
-------------------substract
-15y = -15
     y = 1

15x-3y=27
15x-3(1)=27
15x - 3 = 27
15x = 30
    x = 2

so now you have x = 2, y =1
