What would have happened if the colonists gave into the british

If the colonist were to give in to Britain they would have suffered large amounts of profit being lost. now probably Europe would just have had divided north america to their liking and if the colonists did revel into the american revolution something like this would happen. the British win and are forced to treat the defeated colonists like a garrison state. Decades of endless guerrilla warfare follow—draining the British treasury.
but this its just my opinion with some research and facts
