A wind that blows from the ocean inland towards the land is considered as a sea breeze. This kind of breeze takes place most usually in the months of summer and spring due to the greater differences in the temperature between the ocean and the closely situated land. It takes place primarily in the afternoon when the land receives the majority of the heating from the Sun. The most intense sea breeze takes place in the period of mid to late afternoon.
