100% equals to 100/100, or 1. This isn't the easiest question to answer, so i'll use an example.

Imagine you have a pie. Since this is a percentage, you'll be taking away from it, right? Nope, you get the full 100% of the pie, which means you get all of it. This makes me happy because i've helped you with your question, and this makes you happy because you get a whole pie to yourself. It's a win-win situation, if you ask me ;) Haha
