We would need to use 4 pipes to be sure to empty the chamber within 10 hours time.

Work:
5*5/3*4/10=3 1/3 pipes (but we must round since we cant have 1/3 of a pipe running. This means that we must have 4 pipes.

zimovet [89]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Tan \ B =\frac{4}{3} = \frac{opposite \ side \ of B}{adjacent \ side \ of B}

BC = 15 cm

3x = 15

x = 15/3 = 5

AB =4x = 4*5 = 20 cm

Pythagorean theorem,

AC² = AB² + BC²

       = 20²  + 15 ²

       = 400 + 225

       = 625

AC = √625 = 25 cm

AC = 25 cm

Sin \ A = \frac{opposite  \ side \ of \ angle A }{hypotenuse}\\\\  = \frac{BC}{AB}=\frac{15}{25}=\frac{3}{5}

Answer:

m=\frac{4}{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

Here

(x_1, y_1)= (-2, -3)

and

(x_2, y_2)=(1, 1)

m=\frac{1-(-3)}{1-(-2)}

worty [1.4K]
I hope you'll save some homework for yourself, but I'll help you with this one, too. If one container of crayons has 25 crayons, multiply that by three to get 75 crayons. The marker information is useless in this equation, it's only to confuse you.  Anyways, because that Allison gives away 10 crayons, we need to take 10 crayons away from 75 to get 65. So, your total answer is 65 crayons. I hope this helped! :)
