What U.S president kept two crocodiles as pets
antiseptic1488 [7]
Well, in the first place, they weren't actually crocodiles but alligators. The difference of the two would be that crocodiles are more on the seawater and alligators favor the freshwater. They also have a difference in their head shape where crocodiles are much more like a V-shape rather than the alligators that usually have a U-shape look. Their appearance would also be an indicator since crocodiles are lighter in color where alligators are darker. The US president that kept two alligators as pets would be the 31st president of the United States which is Herbert Clark Hoover.

According to roger williams, how did the english usually justify their attacks on the indians?
Ivenika [448]
They claimed that their wars were defensive. Whenever they attacked they would claim that the Natives had committed a transgression or had attacked first or were a threat or anything similar. This enabled them to do terrible things and still look like heroes in the eyes of the public.
