Answer:

$2.25 per kilometer

Step-by-step explanation:

Here we are asked for the unit rate, dollar per kilometer, that is \$/km.

If Emanuel was charged $32 we need to divided that amount by the kilometers traveled, so:

x=\frac{\$32}{(14+\frac{2}{9})km}\\x=\frac{\$32}{\frac{128}{9}km}\\\\x= \frac{\$288}{128km}\\\\x=2.25\frac{\$}{km}

So the cost per kilometer traveled is $2.25.

32 / (14 2/9) =
32 / (128/9) =
32 * 9 / 128 =
288 / 128 =
$ 2.25 per km

Bryce tried to solve an equation step by step.
Aloiza [94]

$c=\frac{1}{3}

Solution:

Given equation is \frac{8}{3}=3c+\frac{5}{3}.

To solve the equation by step by step.

Step 1: Given

$\frac{8}{3}=3c+\frac{5}{3}$

Step 2: Combine like terms together.

Plus symbol changed to minus when the term goes from right to left (or) left to right of the equal sign.

$\frac{8}{3}-\frac{5}{3}=3c$

Step 3: Subtract the fractions in the left side.

$\frac{3}{3}=3c$

⇒ 1=3c$

Step 4: Divide both side of the equation by 3, we get

$\frac{1}{3} =\frac{3c}{3}$

$\frac{1}{3} =c$

Hence, the answer is c=\frac{1}{3}.

The diameter of a cone is 1.5 meters, the height is 1.5 times the radius, what is the volume?
seropon [69]

Answer:

.66 cu. meters

Step-by-step explanation:

volume for cone is V=1/3 x TT x r^2 x height

TT (pi) is 3.14

radius is 1/2 of diameter (1/2 x 1.5 =  .75 )

height is 1.5 x radius (1.5 x .75 = 1.125)

V= 1/3 x 3.14 x .75^2 x 1.125

V= .66  cu. meters

Can Someone explain how to do this?
zheka24 [161]
1 equals 2. So 2 would be 50 as well.
50+50=100
And there's 360 degrees in total so you'd then subtract 360-100= 260
Then divide by 2 since the other 2 angles are the same
260/2=130
1=50
2=130
3=130
Hope this makes sense! :)
