I think it is the "inventory fraud" since the inventory is supposed to label the right price on it and if it is not the same price as it billed, then that is fraud to the company's inventory.

A common example is going to a store and buying something that says $1.25 and they ring it up as $1.35 indicating that inventory fraud since their shelf price does not match the rung-up price giving the company slightly more money than they were supposed to for the product..

Describe the impact of human activities on natural resources;
Anastasy [175]

Answer:

As the human population has grown, the need for more land has caused an increase in the cutting down of forest lands for habitation and farming. The result has been an increase in soil erosion, an increase in species extinction from habitat loss, and a reduction of oxygen supplied by the trees, as well as lower amounts of carbon dioxide being removed from the atmosphere. Industrial and personal use of fossil fuels has dramatically increased the amount of air pollution in the atmosphere while systematically using up the supply of the non-renewable resources such as coal, oil and natural gas

Which of the following is a potential drawback of using jetties to prevent beach erosion?
il63 [147K]

Answer: C- Beach erosion may increase on the downdrift side of the jetties.

Explanation:

Beach erosion may increase on the downdrift side of the jetties.

On the up drift side of a jetty there is accumulation of sand while the opposite effect takes place on the down drift side. This erosion is caused by the jetty due to the lack of  sand which is trapped on the other side. Ironically, Jetties,which are built to prevent erosion, end up causing more damage than providing a solution.
