Answer:

14.065

Step-by-step explanation:

First you wanna transfer it from kilometers to miles.

if 1 mile is = to 1.6 kilometers that is the same as saying

1/1.6, but because we are using 90 we plug it in and it becomes: 90/1.6 which gives you 56.25.

now we know we are going 56.25 miles per hour and because we are traveling 4 hours divide the miles per hour by 4 and you get 14.065.

Select all ratios that are in their simplest form.
Alekssandra [29.7K]

Answer:

The ratios in their simplest form are:

A 25:24

B 19:24

C 23:24

D 11:16

Step-by-step explanation:

The ratios are in their simplest form are the ratios that cannot be simplified further.

We will check all the ratios one by one

A 25:24

Cannot be further simplified so it is in the simplest form

B 19:24

Cannot be simplified further.

C 23:24

Cannot be simplified further

D 11:16

Cannot be simplified further

E 27:18

27:18\\3:2

Further simplified, so it was not in simplest form.

Hence,

The ratios in their simplest form are:

A 25:24

B 19:24

C 23:24

D 11:16

There are 221 students on a field trip.
AfilCa [17]

Answer:

 • See below

Step-by-step explanation:

Total number of students is 221, out of that number 5 ride a van and the rest fill 6 buses with each taking s students.

This can be shown as:

 • 6s + 5 = 221

We can solve this for s:

 • 6s = 221 - 5
 • 6s = 216
 • s = 216/6
 • s = 36

There are 36 students on each bus.

Which point is a solution
blagie [28]

Answer:

A

Step-by-step explanation:

To determine which point is a solution, substitute the x- coordinate into the right side of the inequality and compare it's value to the y- coordinate of the point.

A (0, 2)

2x - 1 = 0 - 1 = - 1 → 2 ≥ - 1 ⇒ (0, 2) is a solution

B (4, 1)

2x - 1 = (2 × 4) - 1 = 8 - 1 = 7 → 1 < 7 ⇒ (4, 1) is not a solution

C (0, - 10)

2x - 1 = 0 - 1 = - 1 → - 10 < - 1 ⇒ (0, - 10) is not a solution

D (4, 2)

2x - 1 = (2 × 4) - 1 = 8 - 1 = 7 → 2 < 7 ⇒ (4, 2) is not a solution
