Answer:

2172 is the total cost

Cost for tiles: 1800

cost of paint: 372

Find the surface area of the wall without floor:(for cost of paint)

40 x 15 + 40x3x2 + 15x3x2 = 600 + 240 + 90 = 930

Cost: 930/25 x 10 = 372

Find area of floor:(to find cost of tiles)

40 x 15 = 600m^2

cost: 600 x 3 = 1800pounds

add them if needed

Hope this helps

Good Luck

Write an equation of a line parallel to line EF below in slope-intercept form that passes through the point (2, 6).
N76 [4]

Answer:

y = -⅔x + ²²/₃

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Calculate the slope of EF

Assume E is at (-2, 5) and F is at (1, 3).

m₁ = (y₂ - y₁)/(x₂ - x₁) = (3 - 5)/(1 -(-2)) = -⅔

2. Calculate the slope of the parallel line

m₂ = m₁ = -⅔

3. Calculate its y-intercept

y = mx + b

6 =-⅔(2) + b

Simplify

6 = -⁴/₃ + b

Add ⁴/₃ to each side

b = 6 + ⁴/₃ = ¹⁸/₃ + ⁴/₃ = ²²/₃

The y-intercept is at (0,²²/₃).

4. Write the equation for the line

y = -⅔x + ²²/₃

The diagram shows EF in red. The parallel line in black passes through (2, 6) with a y-intercept at (0,²²/₃).

What is the slope of a line that goes through 0,0 and 5,-1
djyliett [7]

Answer:

  slope = -1/5

Step-by-step explanation:

The slope of a line between two points is ...

  slope = (change in y)/(change in x)

  = (-1 -0)/(5 -0) = -1/5

The slope of the line is -1/5.

How much will it cost to print a circular sign with a radius of 1.1 feet if the printing company charges $27 per square foot? us
Serga [27]

Answer: To find the cost to print a circular frame, we need to first find the area of circle.

Given: r=1.1

We know that:

Area of circle =\pi \times r^{2}

                       =3.14 \times 1.1^{2}

                       =3.7994

Also we are given cost per square foot is $27

Therefore, the cost to print a circular sign with a radius of 1.1 feet is:

3.7994 \times 27= 102.58  or $102.58
