The immune system is located all over the body in order to provide quick immune responses wherever infection occurs. The immune cells travel through blood and lymphatic system vessels. Our immune system has primary immune response as well as secondary response. To enable communication between immune cells, there are special structures within the lymph nodes and the spleen.
If you don't know how that kind of thing works, you are likely to make mistakes regarding it. If you know how it works, you can prevent yourself from making mistakes that could endanger yourself and/or others.
For a family of four, a first aid kit would include scissors. A multi-purpose tool would come handy, but is not necessary. Rubbing alcohol is out of the ordinary, and barbiturates are a type of drug unneeded in a first aid kit.
