Since we only have pounds and are looking for ounces, we need to know how many ounces are in a pound.
There are 16 ounces in 1 pound.
We have 4 3/4 pounds, so we should get the whole amount first.
4 x 16 = 64. There is 64 ounces so far, but we have 3/4 of 1 pound, so we need to divide 16 ounces (1 pound) by 4 so we can get how many 1/4's needed.
16/4 = 4, so for every 1/4 pound there is 4 ounces.
Since we have 3/4 ounces, multiply 4 by 3. We get 12.
Add up our two answers.
64 + 12 = 76.
The fish weighed 76 ounces.
I hope this helps!

Five bikers join a race. In how many possible ways can they be arranged as
PolarNik [594]

Answer:

60 different possibilities

Step-by-step explanation:

Number of bikers = 5

Positions = first, second and third

First positions = all 5 riders can take the first spot = 5 possibilities

Second spot = position 1 has been filled hence number of possibilities = ( 5 - 1) = 4

Third spot = position 1 and 2 has been filled ; number of possibilities =. (5 - 2). = 3

Number of possible arrangements :

5 * 4 * 3 = 60 different possibilities

HELPPPPP ME GUYSSSS........
tamaranim1 [39]

Answer:

\rm\displaystyle (x  +  2{)}^{2}  + (y  + 5 {)}^{2}  =  {1}^{}

\rm\displaystyle (x - 7{)}^{2}  + (y  + 3{)}^{2}  =  { 7 }

Step-by-step explanation:

<h3>QUESTION-1:</h3>

we are given the center and the redious of a circle equation

remember that,

\rm\displaystyle E _{c} :(x - h {)}^{2}  + (y - k {)}^{2}  =  {r}^{2}

where (h,k) is the centre coordinate and r is redious of the circle

given that, h=-2 , k=-5 and r=1

Thus substitute:

\rm\displaystyle (x - ( - 2){)}^{2}  + (y - ( - 5) {)}^{2}  =  {1}^{2}

simplify:

\rm\displaystyle (x  +  2{)}^{2}  + (y  + 5 {)}^{2}  =  {1}^{}

<h3>QUESTION-2:</h3>

Likewise

\rm\displaystyle E _{c} :(x - h {)}^{2}  + (y - k {)}^{2}  =  {r}^{2}

given that,h=7,k=-3 and r=√7

substitute:

\rm\displaystyle (x - (7{))}^{2}  + (y - ( - 3){)}^{2}  =  { \sqrt{7}  ^{2}   }

simplify:

\rm\displaystyle (x - 7{)}^{2}  + (y  + 3{)}^{2}  =  { 7 }
