We get the variable c on one side of the equation and everything on the other side of c.

2c + 5(c - 5) = 10 ; Start
2c + 5c - 25 = 10 ; Distribute the 5 across c and -5
7c - 25 = 10         ; Combine the like terms 2c and 5c
7c = 35                ; Add 25 to each side of the equation
c = 5 ; Divide both sides by the coefficient of c. Which is 7

I need help with geometry

T= 34

Explanation

So measure t equals measure s also since it’s a isosceles triangle!

Then we combine all the equations together and set it equal to 180 because every triangle is 180°.

3x-2 + 3x-2 + 9x+4 = 180

Now we combine like light terms

3x + 3x + 9x -2 -2 +4 = 180

15x= 180

Now that we simplify the equation we solve for x

15x/15= 180/15. Divide both sides by 15

X= 12

The problem ask what the measure of t is so we plug the 12 into the equation to find the measure

3x-2= 3(12)-2

36-2= 34

So the measure of t is 34°

Solve for x.

3x^2−10=−5

(choices in photo)
stiks02 [169]
The correct answer is the second one: ±√15/3

Explan ation:

You have the quadratic equation 3x^2−10=−5. Then you must clear the variable "x" as below:

3x^2−10=−5
3x^2=−5+10
3x^2=5
x^2=5/3
x=±√(5/3)

When you multipy the numerator and the denominator by 3 for simplify the result, you obtain:

x=±√(5x3/3x3)
x=±√(15/3²)

When you simplify, you have:

x=±√15/3
